After my trip to London, I was determined to make a beer at home which reminded me of the delicious Spring seasonal cask ales I tried while I was overseas. I’m really pleased with the results, a 3.4% ABV golden ale using 2-row, Maris Otter, and a touch of Caramel-15. It’s barely hopped with UK Fuggles and is perfectly light bodied. I kept it dry, and everything is very subtle, making for a beer just like what I remember in London: the epitome of quaffable pint after pint. I know my measly three gallons won’t last long.
